Wikis are known to be ugly. In my effort to learn CSS I modified the look of this wiki using Kubrick for Wordpress as a starting point. Unfortunatly UseMod isn't very CSS friendly. The use of <div> elements is not consistent.

My ambition was to not make any changes to the wiki code but I failed and after that the whole project felt kind of pointless.

Anyway here's a tarball with the patch to apply to UseMod 1.0, the images and the stylesheet itself.

I hid away everything in the wikifooter with "color: #eee" and only display it when you hover over it. I don't think that the wikifooter is significant to most readers and editing is locked down on this wiki anyway.

If you don't like this style sheet go into preferences and set your style sheet to http://snippsnapp.polite.se/oldstyle/wiki.css for a more traditional wiki look.

But if you're really on the hunt for a nice looking wiki drop UseMod and go for OddMuse a UseMod fork or PhpWiki. They don't look to good from scratch but at least they are supposed to work better with CSS.
